1. Increasing & decreasing acceleration Click with the left mouse button on the Xpress icon in the bottom right hand corner. You will then see a small gray box that will give you a few options to choose from. Left click on SETTINGS (the settings box will appear). If you click on the IMAGE QUALITY tab you can move the bar back and forth to increase and decrease acceleration. With the increase in acceleration the pictures will become more distorted. Click on OK to save any changes. 2. Connection set-up Also in the SETTINGS option you should click on CONNECTION and type in your username and password which is the same username and password you are currently using to connect to Losch. You must enter this in LOWERCASE letters. You can also check the box to save your username and password. Click on OK to save any changes. 3. Additional features Click on the FEATURES tab. There should be check marks in the boxes that say "Enable Macromedia Flash compression" and "Enable Losch Email Xpress”. You can choose to place a check mark in "Block in-page advertisements". Click on OK to save any changes. 4. Software updates In the UPDATE tab you can check for any updates for the software and you can click UPDATE NOW to begin the update. You can close this box when all settings are complete. 5. Software Summary Click with the left mouse button on the Xpress icon in the bottom right hand corner. You will then see a small gray box that will give you a few options to choose from. Left click on the option for STATISTICS (the statistics box will appear). This will give you a summary of what the software is actually doing. It shows the original data size, actual data size after software compression, and savings ratio. You can close this box when finished reviewing information. Back to the Top 6. Pop-Up blocker options. Click with the left mouse button on the Xpress icon in the bottom right hand corner. You will then see a small gray box that will give you a few options to choose from. Left click on the option for Pop-Up Blocker and click on OPTIONS. You can place a check mark in “Enable Pop-Up Blocker” to stop pop-up ads. You can also check the boxes that say “Block floating Flash-Ads” and “Notify blocked pop-up by PC speaker beep”. Click OK to save any changes. 7. Additional Pop-Up Blocker Options. While still in the Pop-Up Blocker option, click on the WHITE LIST tab. You can add and remove sites/domains to your list by clicking add or remove. This allows those sites/domains to be viewed on your computer. For instance, when the Pop-Up blocker is enabled it sometimes interferes with viewing thumbnails, adding that particular site to the White List will alleviate the problem.
